  • Guest Services Assistant
    Location: Sweetwater Campground, Ranch & Riding Stables – Loranger, LA Compensation: $12–$15/hour depending on experience Schedule: Part-time · Weekend/Holiday Availability REQUIRED Use our form to submit (link at the bottom), we will not accept candidates any other way. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated, and energetic Guest Services Assistant to join the Sweetwater Ranch team. This is a hands-on, guest-facing position that plays a key role in creating memorable experiences for our campers — from check-in to coffee time to campfire nights. If you’re outgoing, creative, detail-oriented, and quick on your feet, this role is for you. We’re a small, passionate team that works hard, wears many hats, and always puts the guest first. You should be the kind of person who asks, “What can I do next?” when a task is done — and enjoys helping make each day a little more fun for the people around you. What You'll Do Guest Services & Front Desk Greet guests during check-in and check-out with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, emails, and online inquiries using our reservation system Brew morning coffee and keep the front office welcoming, tidy, and organized Provide campsite directions, campground info, and a great first impression Trading Post & Operations Support Open and operate the Trading Post and register (POS system training provided) Restock snacks, drinks, merchandise, and supplies Track and manage inventory, reorder when needed Assist with minor errands or deliveries from local vendors Cabin & Housekeeping Support Confirm that cabins are cleaned and ready before guest arrivals Make beds, stock towels, and prep essentials as needed Wash, fold, and organize linens and laundry Perform basic restroom and trash checks for office and public spaces Activities & Event Support Help coordinate horse riding and carousel schedules with our barn staff Set up and host events like hayrides, outdoor movies, socials, and vendor markets Promote upcoming events by handing out flyers and engaging with guests Greet families and help them feel at home during activities Social Media Support Snap fun photos or videos during events and guest activities Post quick updates or stories to help share the Sweetwater experience Respond to social messages or guest questions during your shift Use templates or Canva (training available) to support flyers and signage What We're Looking For We're building something special at Sweetwater, and we’re looking for team members who bring: A positive, guest-first attitude every day Strong communication skills and a love for working with people Creativity and confidence in social posting or event support A hard-working mindset — no task too small, no job beneath you Natural curiosity and initiative — you ask “what else needs to be done?” without being asked A team player who thrives in an energetic, outdoorsy environment Schedule & Requirements Part-time role: approximately 20 hours per week Weekend/Holidays availability is REQUIRED (Fridays through Sundays are peak days) The office and Trading Post are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays You’ll never be required to work more than 8 hours in a day We are busiest on holidays and special events so be prepared to work Perks of Working at Sweetwater A welcoming, community-focused campground environment Opportunity to be creative and contribute your ideas Learn new skills in hospitality, events, social media, and guest service Work with a small, supportive, and hardworking team that’s passionate about what we do How to Apply Ready to join us?
